ALLAH, Exalted is He, says;
‘And Establish Prayer To Remember Me’ (20:14).
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said;
‘When One of You Prays, He is in Intimate Discourse with His Lord…’ (al-Bukhari).
Furthermore, the Prophet, peace be upon him, took pleasure in salah.
These verses on Salah, and many hadiths like the one above, show us that there’s a DIMENSION & QUALITY to salah that requires much more from us.
It is an attitude to salah that goes far beyond physical movements and verbal recitation. Its a dimension that requires ‘ Mindfull Devotion to ALLAH , Presence, and Awareness of His Presence.’
This is called ‘KHUSHU’
